I found this site researching the house my father lives in. He lives in Daingerfield, in the house that Marvin and Essie McDonald lived in. This is amazing information.

Hello, My name is Lisa{Batts}Morrill. My fathers name was Odis Gaines Batts. His Mother was Laura Cebelle Evans. His Fathers Name was Walter Gaines Batts. Laura & Walter had three children together. Their daughters names were; Clara Joe {Batts}Welch, Carolyn {Batts}Bingham, Lottie {Batts}Bronner. Walters mothers name was Matilda Lennie Katherine Roberson. Her Mothers name was Prudence W. "Prudie" Rainwater-Collie. She and her husband are
burried at Duffah Cemetry. I know Walter was remarried and had a son by the name of Arthur Franklin Batts. And he had three other daughters by the names of; Cora Lee, Ruby Nell, and Dorothy other than this information, I have nothing else, but any other information would be greatly appreciated. I am a member of ancestery.com, and have posted what this information on there as well...
